Coming home to a neat and clean apartment yesterday was the best feeling ever, so good that it almost outweighted the unsettling task of unpacking. Aksel and I wanted the whole thing to be done so fast that we´d started the first clothing wash, plus managed to unpack all of the three suitcases before half an hour had gone. And then awaited the final EM- football match.. What an incredible long day. We woke up at 6 a.m. and were not in bed before around 11.30 p.m.?
And yesterday must have been the longest flight ever. I have never had any problems whatsoever regarding flying. I mean, the first time I took my flight across the world to the Philippines, was before turning one! And in college, I was pretty sure I was going to become a pilot when growing up. But yesterday… I swear, I took a look at my watch every other minute, just praying to God me, my belly and my legs would survive the entire trip. Yes, I was superstressed about blood clots. I had my support stockings on (which by the way, putting on while sitting on a small space with a big baby belly, was the fight of my life), but despite that, I couldn´t get my mind off of it. Such a comfort thinking that our next trip will be by car; with a whooole lot of stops to avoid them blood clots! :-)
Anyways. One would think I needed another whole day to sleep the tiredness off, but I was surprisingly wide awake a little past 7. And though it feels really nice to wake up in one´s own bed, I couldn´t help but to get nostalgic and think about our room´s view (picture below). Can´t believe this was our morning sight for one whole week and now it all suddenly seems like a far away dream.. Especially when looking outside our window. Keywords: cloudy – grey – cold. *baah* But at least we´re reunited with our fourlegged beauty and we´re looking forward to continue with our weekly traning routine. Plus, I have to get started on the fun prosject of editing our holiday video clip! I´ll of course share it with you as soon as I get it done :-)
In the meanwhile, have a great start to the week, fine people of the world ♥
